The Seek/Tell Balancing Act Great leaders are also great coaches when they balance seeking and telling. Often, a leader's first instinct is to tell an employee how to get better results. This session guides leaders through the more balanced approach of seeking an employee's input first. Great coaches encourage employees to think through situations and formulate their own ideas. Seeker-coaches share their experiences, insights and ideas only when needed. The result is a more empowered employee who's more likely to contribute in the future.
