Developmental Activities for Kids This is a workshop for adults who interact with children. The presenter will discuss developmentally appropriate activities for various age groups and can include hands-on activities with or without children. Sane Parenting-It Makes You "Crazy" Successful parenting is hard work as any parent knows. It isn't an innate talent, so this presentation is geared toward helping individuals develop an understanding of how to be a successful parent. Linda Cowden, Counselor
The Word is "Love" The presenter will have some fun applying developmental psychology theory to some home videos and hopefully create a lively discussion on parenting. The presenter brings to this presentation his own experience of raising two girls, a Masters of Education in Counseling, and a background in teaching developmental psychology at the college level and teaching workshops for the Family Court of St. Louis entitled, "Parenting During a Divorce."
